Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant (Parental Leave Cover)

Location: Ryman Healthcare, [Specify Relevant Office] Duration: 7-month fixed-term, starting late July Competency Required: Fast-paced, project-heavy, and transformation-driven role. Not a traditional Executive Assisting position—this role requires influence, collaboration, and commercial judgment across senior leadership portfolios.

The Role

Supporting: Chief Customer Officer & Chief People & Safety Officer Hybrid Model: Fast-paced, project-intensive, with genuine impact across the organisation.

This is NOT a traditional Executive Assistant role.

What you’ll thrive in:

Beyond diaries and emails: You’ll be at the core of leadership collaboration, delivering data-driven operational insights with contemporary tools. No textbook tasks—only meaningful, doer-level influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist two leadership teams with:
    • Diaries & Travel Management – Champions commercially sound appointments, prioritising trade-offs and emergencies with deep executive insight.
    • Executive Correspondence – Streamlining and enhancing communication for cross-team and inter-organisational co-ordination.
  • Coordination & Logistics
    • Leadership agendas & meeting preps – Designs engaging agendas, actionable content, smooth rooms/set-ups, and executes clear, action-oriented follow-ups.
    • Quarterly Sales Workshops (end-to-end) – Agendas, content preps, team logistics/reporting for engaging attendance and alignment.
    • Board Paper Timeline Tracking – Ensures on-time compliance for governance requirements.
  • Project Work & Reporting
    • Delivers ad-hoc project briefs, reporting, and business insights – transformations of raw data into actionable intelligence using Excel, PowerPoint, and emerging tech.
    • Boost operational efficiency with AI tools, Copilot, and workflow automations – proactively streamlining processes.
  • Relationship & Influence
    • A natural cross-functional collaborator – you’ll feel at home working with senior leaders, board members, and operational teams alike.
