Executive Assistant
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join the London office for our client, a global alternative investment manager.
This is a unique role supporting the Fundamental Investment team, giving you scope to use your extensive organisational skills, as well as develop your understanding and knowledge of the Teams’ work. This position is first and foremost a proactive executive assistant role; diary management, high-volume meeting scheduling, and coordination, requiring exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving environment.
Alongside this, you will play an important role in corporate access and investor engagement, coordinating meetings with company management teams, organising roadshows and conference participation. This provides valuable exposure to financial markets and would suit someone with a genuine interest in the industry who enjoys being close to the action from an operational perspective. Culturally you will be fully engaged with the team, a fantastic opportunity to learn, develop you understanding and be wholly engaged with their work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
We are looking for an Executive Assistant with experience in an administrative or EA role, either with proven alternative investments experience (Corporate Access, fund management and similar would be of interest), or working in a similarly high demand environment. If the latter, you must have an interest in Financial Markets, or at the least, a desire to learn, an inquisitive mind and excellent communication abilities.
