Executive Assistant | Boutique Investment Bank

📍 City of London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a highly respected boutique investment bank, supporting senior leaders within a fast-paced Mergers & Acquisitions team.

This is a role for an EA who thrives in high-performance environments, enjoys working at the heart of complex transactions, and takes pride in being a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior executives, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the M&A team. From managing complex diaries and international travel to coordinating confidential meetings, investor communications, and transaction-related activity, you will become an integral part of a collaborative and commercially driven business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class Executive Assistant support to senior M&A professionals.
  • Manage complex and constantly changing diaries across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate international travel, meetings, and client events.
  • Prepare presentations, board papers, and confidential documentation.
  • Support live transactions, due diligence processes, and deal execution.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle highly confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively manage competing priorities.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience within Investment Banking or financial services.
  • Exposure to M&A or transaction-focused teams.
  • A background in Financial Services (Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Asset Management).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple competing deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
