Executive Assistant - Fixed Term Contract until March 2027
Immediate starter required
Please note: For this particular role, we’re only able to consider candidates who are immediately available to start on 10th August 2026
About The Role
At Monzo we offer paid sabbatical leave to Monzonauts after 5 years of tenure. With several of our EAs taking this in 2026, we’re looking for an experienced EA to step in and provide seamless support to their leaders. This is a great opportunity to work across different parts of the Executive team.
We know that an excellent EA leads to better outcomes for our customers by enabling the performance of the Executive they support. This is why we are looking for a passionate, ambitious EA who relishes working in a fast-paced environment where they have an opportunity to make a real difference. We generally work 1:2 / 1:3 depending on the workload associated with the person.
Joining a team of 16 you will collaborate with our existing EA team to keep Monzo running and to continue to raise the bar on what great support looks like.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
