Private & Academic Executive Assistant | Mainly Remote
A unique Executive Assistant opportunity.
We are delighted to be representing a warm, private family seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide support to a brilliant Oxford/Cambridge graduate at the beginning of his research career, whilst also assisting another family member with private EA support. This is unlike a traditional EA role. It combines academic support, document production, research coordination and private household administration within a long-term, trusted partnership.

The role will include:
- Supporting academic research, publications, and professional projects.
- Typing, formatting, and proofreading documents from live dictation.
- Managing diaries, projects, and complex schedules.
- Coordinating with universities, publishers, and professional contacts.
- Preparing research papers, citations, and bibliographies.
- Private Executive Assistant support including household administration and personal projects.
- Introducing efficient systems and embracing technology to simplify day-to-day working.
We are looking for someone who is:

- Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
- An exceptional typist with outstanding written English
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Technologically confident and comfortable learning new software
- Warm, discreet, calm, and emotionally intelligent
- Interested in academia, research, and intellectual pursuits

Mainly remote, with occasional meetings and travel as required.
