Executive Assistant to the CEO

Location: London

Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid

Hybrid working: Minimum three days per week in the office

We are recruiting for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Global CEO of a prestigious international law firm.

This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished, proactive, and commercially-minded Executive Assistant to operate at the heart of a global organisation. You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO while also providing support to the Chairperson and Chief Operating Officer when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing proactive and confidential support to the Global CEO
  • Supporting the Chairperson and Chief Operating Officer when required
  • Managing complex diaries, meetings, and priorities across multiple time zones
  • Coordinating extensive UK and international travel
  • Acting as a trusted gatekeeper and managing executive communications
  • Preparing correspondence, presentations, reports, and board-level documents
  • Coordinating executive meetings, events, and client engagements
  • Managing meeting logistics, briefing materials, and follow-up actions
  • Supporting client and practice-management activities
  • Maintaining CRM records, executive systems, and confidential business information
  • Working closely with partners, senior leaders, and business support teams
  • Using technology, including AI tools, to improve executive processes and efficiency

About You:

You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who is comfortable supporting senior leadership within a demanding, high-performing, and internationally focused environment.

You should have:

  • Proven experience supporting a CEO, Managing Partner, or senior executive
  • Previous Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Legal PA experience
  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent complex diary and international travel-management skills
  • Outstanding organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong business-writing and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Exceptional judgement, discretion, and attention to detail
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
