About the Role
Hurlingham Advisory is a principal-led London real estate firm, a £22m+ prime property management portfolio and a transaction advisory practice, run deliberately small and deliberately systematic. Every process is documented; every role has clear, measurable outcomes.
We are hiring the founder's right hand: his executive-function layer, the person who makes sure nothing he commits to falls through a gap. This is a true executive-assistant role, not an admin pool — you will see how a real estate and advisory business is actually run, and you'll help run it.
How the Principal works: read this before applying
He moves fast, generates ideas constantly, and communicates primarily by voice note, often several a day, containing decisions, commitments and tasks mixed together. Your job is to be the structure around that pace: you capture everything, you hold the master list, you are the external memory of the business. He will not always remember what he promised, remembering is your job, and reminding him is not an interruption; it is the role. If you need detailed instructions for every task, this position will frustrate you. If you enjoy imposing calm order on a fast-moving founder, you will love it.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- Produce the Principal's daily brief, priorities, open commitments, schedule and risks — ready before his day begins, every business day
- Process his voice notes daily, extracting every task, decision and commitment into our tracking system within 24 hours, so nothing lives only in a recording
- Own the open-loops list: every promise he makes, tracked to completion, with proactive reminders at the right moment, you are measured by what doesn't slip
- Own his inbox: triage everything, draft routine replies for approval
- Run his calendar to documented rules; protecting deep-work sprints, batching London meeting days, preparing briefing packs before significant meetings
What we're looking for
- 2+ years supporting a founder or senior executive
- Written English a London client would never question, your writing is the firm's quality layer
- Fluency at turning rambling voice input into crisp, structured written output
- Steady temperament; summary-first communication; the confidence to flag a dropped ball kindly — deferential silence doesn't work here
- Discretion as second nature

Hours & pay
Full-time, remote, exclusive, the successful candidate will be winding down other client commitments. Core hours flex around two fixed anchors: the daily brief delivered by 8:00 AM UK time, and a 15-minute handover call overlapping the UK morning. Time zones ahead of the UK (Eastern Europe, East Africa, Philippines) suit the rhythm particularly well. Competitive full-time monthly rate, discussed at interview, with growth as the firm grows. Every process comes with written guides and video walkthroughs — you'll be trained on each one.
How to apply — mandatory format; applications not following it will not be read
Begin your application answer with the word COMPASS, then answer this before anything else: The Principal sends you three voice notes over a weekend. Between them they contain: two tasks for you, one promise he made to a client, one idea he's excited about, and one decision that changes something in your existing task list. It's Monday 7am. Describe exactly what you do with all five items before his day starts.
Then tell us briefly about your experience and current availability.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
