At NHS Property Services

At NHS Property Services, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That's why we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered to thrive. Our People Strategy - Get, Grow and Keep Great People - is focused on building a values-driven culture where colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Chief Financial Officer, providing trusted, proactive and highly organised support in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

This isn't a traditional diary management role. We're looking for someone who can quickly build credibility, understand the priorities of a senior leader, and become a trusted partner who helps create focus, order and momentum. You'll be someone who thrives on variety, can confidently navigate competing demands and has the resilience to remain composed when priorities shift at pace. The role requires strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the confidence to work independently, often anticipating needs before they arise. The Executive Assistant is expected to provide proactive executive support, manage communications and correspondence, coordinate complex meetings and ensure senior leaders are fully briefed and prepared.

Who you are

We're looking for a resilient, highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working at the heart of the business. You'll be a confident communicator with excellent judgement, able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities with ease. Using your initiative to anticipate needs, solve problems and handle sensitive matters professionally, you'll quickly learn the priorities and pace of a CFO's world to become a trusted partner. Previous experience supporting senior leaders within a Finance function, or exposure to a financial or commercial environment, would be highly advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
