Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Group CEO.

We will be happy to welcome you to our Campus HQ Crewe, with core working hours of Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Given the seniority of the role, some flexibility to provide support outside core hours will be required.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Be...
- Managing the Group CEO’s diary end to end, prioritising competing demands and proactively managing the influx of requests from across the business.
- Managing the Group CEO’s inbox, screening and triaging correspondence and acting as a trusted first point of contact.
- Preparing the CEO pack and other board and executive materials, often at short notice and to tight deadlines.
- Arranging and coordinating UK and international travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
- Organising offsites, events and business meetings end to end, including venues, logistics and attendees.
- Attending business meetings to capture actions and maintain an informed view of activity across the business.
- Handling a high volume of highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgement.
- Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, always representing the Group CEO’S office professionally.
- Providing flexible support outside core hours where required, including occasional evening and weekend responsiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
