For decades, Children with Cancer UK has supported families through the toughest moments of their lives.
From funding vital research, to providing supporting and improving wellbeing for families experiencing childhood cancer, they’re a charity with a clear mission: To improve survival rates and the quality of survival in young cancer patients, and to find ways to prevent cancer in the future.
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated and effective support and coordination to a busy CEO on a day-to-day basis.
If you are a confident people person who is diligent and solutions-focused and would like to support the smooth running of a purposeful organisation, this could be your next position.
- £35,000 - £40,000
- Immediate start available
- Permanent. Full-time
- Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office in Holborn, London (WC1N 3NL)
Key duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for the CEO by delivering comprehensive administrative and organisational support.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
- Coordinate their diary and book and coordinate travel and accommodation.
- Assist in organising and managing events or board meetings as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

The appointed candidate should have:
- Proven experience in an EA role, preferably from within the medical or charity sectors.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools for scheduling and document preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Accurate attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A professional approach, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
You can expect:
- A salary with a range between £35000 - £40000.
- Hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office supporting the CEO.

- Employer pension contributions up to 5% of annual salary
- Birthday leave, and three additional days’ leave during the Christmas period
- Annual leave increase based on number of years’ served.
