Executive Chef Manager
Location: State School, South-West London, UK Salary: £45,000 per annum Contract: Term-Time Only (40 weeks per year, Monday to Friday)
About the Role
We are recruiting a passionate and innovative Executive Chef Manager to lead the catering operation at a highly regarded state secondary school in South-West London.
This is an opportunity to:

The Operation
- School type: State secondary school for approximately 500 meals per day
- Team: Brigade of 7 chefs working closely with you
- Hospitality programme: Semi-busy, with events including parent evenings and award ceremonies
The Food
- Freshly sourced: Hygiene-backed cooking using fresh, locally sourced ingredients daily
- Dynamic menu planning: Seasonal offerings with scope to implement modern food concepts
- Flexibility: Freedom to curate menus and contribute to special events, award ceremonies, and parent evenings

Responsibilities
- Lead a professional and motivated catering team
- Drive high standards of food quality, service, and culture
- Support chef training and professional development
- Oversee seamless hospitality and event management
- Maintain hands-on involvement in food preparation and service
Requirements
- Proven experience in education catering
- Ideal background: State school catering environment preferred
- Strong commitment to reliability, consistency, and long-term work
- Passion for food culture and delivering outstanding dining experiences
