About the Role
We seek a talented and motivated Executive, Data Excellence for our cross-border team. This full-time, hands-on role focuses on operational data quality, supporting Amazon’s diverse global businesses—including XCM, Prime Video, and Roku. As a key data quality contributor, you’ll: ✔ Coach and partner with local data teams ✔ Uphold strict data accuracy across geographies ✔ Implement data governance processes that align with Amazon Leadership Principles ✔ Support team leader in advocating data-quality excellence through methodology, quality focus and tribal knowledge

Key Responsibilities
🔍 Data Quality Execution & Monitoring
- Create and distribute visionary dashboards tracking data quality across global datasets
- Define kPIs and consistency checks to ensure error-free, reliable data
- Investigate and escalate errors and deficiencies—root cause analysis, not symptom interpretation
- Work extensively across global local teams, production assets, studios, and creative data
📄 Process Support & Documentation
- Contribute to documentation of data issue resolutions and data refresh procedures
- Collaborate with data engineers to improve processes using code/tech tools
- Ensure Creative taxonomy and rollout plans are documented for consistent compliance
🗣️ Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Proactively push for data excellence among stakeholders
- Elevate data literacy across the organisation
- Communicate transparently about problems/challenges to support collective success
🔬 Learning & Self-Development
- Develop expertise in data reg configs, formats, and standard definitions
- Continuously seek efficiency improvements in processes and reporting
- Ethically handle personal, professional, and sensitive data complying with policies

Experience & Skills
Technical Proficiency
✔ SQL/analytic training w/ experience, from simple querying to ad-hoc ad hoc analysis
Data Validation & Quality
✔ Proven track record in data assurance, cleansing, and validation
Soft Skills
✔ Adroit balance of attention to detail (DQ) in large-scale organisation ✔ Collaborative cross-team influence ensuring stakeholders align on data integrity
Processes
✔ Understanding of ASOC’s CORE for ensuring structured, compliant data processing
