Sheerah Network is a leadership-focused organization co-founded by Oge Austin-Chukwu and Lisa Leonce to empower people of color to thrive in their leadership journey, while elevating and equipping women of color in particular. The organization addresses persistent gaps for Black and ethnic minority professionals in leadership roles across sectors and offers practical support to navigate inequitable pathways and workplace experiences. Sheerah Network provides consultancy and audit services, workshops, focus groups, podcasts, and one-to-one coaching to foster inclusive leadership in all fields and organizations. The team is committed to understanding each individual’s context and supporting them in achieving their personal and professional goals. The Role: Executive Director
Sheerah Network is entering an exciting new chapter expanding our global presence, deepening our impact, and strengthening our work in inclusive leadership, and storytelling. We are seeking a committed, values-driven Director to join our leadership team and help shape the future of Sheerah.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for inclusion, a strong understanding of the value of lived experience, and a desire to contribute to meaningful, long-term change in senior leadership.

The role is voluntary with reasonable expenses covered. As the organisation grows remuneration will be offered.
Commitment
- 4–6 hours per week (flexible)
- Long-term commitment preferred.
- Able to travel occasionally for events or meetings.

Key Skills & Experience
- Fundraising expertise. The ability to secure funding, build donor relationships, and identify new opportunities.
- Bid writing. Confident in preparing strong proposals and applications.
- Research skills. Able to gather insights, analyse trends, and support strategic decisions.
- Networking. Has strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect Sheerah to influential partners, ideally with a national or global presence.
- Strategic mindset. Able to support long-term planning and organisational growth.
- Commitment to inclusion. Understands lived experience, allyship, and equitable leadership.
