International Wealth and Global Financial Institutions Team

The International Wealth and Global Financial Institutions team is responsible for driving growth across MSIM’s international wealth businesses, working across multiple related channels including intermediaries, wealth and global financial institutions in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. In this capacity, we directly oversee the intermediary client teams in Europe and the Latin American client team, as well as manage our client relationships internationally with global financial institutions.

We will provide guidance on best practices, strategic insights, and efficient allocation of resources for our wealth efforts across all three regions.

Executive Director of Global Financial Institutions

The Executive Director of Global Financial Institutions is responsible for building and growing strategic distribution partnerships with global financial institutions in the EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. As we build a dedicated GFI team, this individual will be responsible for creating a scalable and replicable framework for engaging GFI stakeholders globally, with deep client coverage beyond regional limitations.

What you will own

  • Lead strategic initiatives and sales intelligence for Tier 1 and Tier 2 global financial institutions.
  • Build the GC Strategy and partner closely with marketing on strategic initiatives and the creation of bespoke content and sales collateral.
  • Coordinate with client champions to create synchronized strategy, sales, and service across regions and products.
  • Guide regional sales teams and ensure they have region-specific collateral and product decks.
  • Own and Track Data and provide reporting across sales pipeline, interactions, and asset/product flows.
  • Develop a deep understanding of MSIM’s suite of funds and investment strategies, across public and private vehicles.
  • Represent MSIM in public as appropriate and work to build brand credibility through events and sponsorships.
  • Pro-actively develop relationships across product management, investment teams, marketing, client relationship management, as well as across other divisions of the Firm.
  • Enhance MSIM presence in the region and develop the best strategy to position MSIM as a leader in the market.

What you will bring to the role

  • Minimum of 10 years of a strong, proven track record in sales with global financial institutions.
  • Commercial mindset, refined strategic thinking, writing, presentation, verbal communication skills, and the ability to carry a room with internal and external constituents.
  • Credibility to operate at a senior level within the organization as well as across a range of external clients.
  • Strong team player, ability to collaborate with colleagues across the team, MSIM, and the broader organization.
  • Track-record of being proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • A growth orientation with an adaptive, agile personality who sees possibilities in shifting demands, and opportunity sets, presented in the marketplace with the ability to inspire others to see the same.
  • Culture carrier with high EQ; a humble, self-reflective, open-minded thinker who possesses a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
  • Results-oriented thinker who embraces accountability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, team-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Strong academic credentials from a leading university; bachelor’s degree ideally in Business, Finance, or a related field.
