Executive Director, Growth Analytics
Data & Analytics Lead — Europe + North America (OMD Beiersdorf)
About the Role
As Data & Analytics Lead for Beiersdorf (BDF) within the EUNA regional leadership team (Europe + North America), you will shape and deliver Beiersdorf’s regional data and analytics agenda. Reporting to senior leadership, this critical role focuses on setting the vision, direction, and execution of data-driven initiatives while ensuring seamless alignment across OMD EMEA and BDF’s internal infrastructure.
As the central coordination and governance point, you will lead a high-performing team of up to 10 specialists, bringing together disparate, interdependent activities into a clear, unified roadmap with defined priorities, ownership, and measurable business impact. Your responsibility spans strategic leadership, transformation delivery, and senior client partnership, ensuring data and analytics are embedded as an omnipresent, value-creating decision-support function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary regional Data & Analytics team, establishing clear direction, standards, and effective collaboration frameworks.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and sustainable growth, balancing agility with long-term scalability.
- Ensure alignment with regional OMD and BDF strategic goals, embedding a data-first mindset across operations.

2. Data & Analytics Transformation
- Own and execute the end-to-end regional Data & Analytics roadmap, translating BDF’s strategic priorities into scalable, future-proof solutions.
- Define clear milestones, governance structures, and KPIs to ensure measurable business impact across the entire value chain.
- Bridge the gap between analytics maturity and commercial ambition, driving incremental and transformative Wins.
3. Senior Client Partnership
- Act as Beiersdorf’s chief Data & Analytics partner, shaping long-term strategic direction and aligning initiatives with the client’s evolving needs.
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder confidence, acting as a trusted advisor amidst ambiguity and strategic shifts.
- Proactively evolve scope and priorities, ensuring data initiatives remain agile and aligned with client growth ambitions.
4. Cross-Capability Integration
- Ensure seamless coherence across data management, analytics, automation, audience intelligence, and ad operations.
- Design a holistic data-driven ecosystem, showcasing how these capabilities work together to drive activation and optimisation.
- Effectively communicate ROI to senior stakeholders across OMD EMEA and BDF, eliminating siloed thinking.
5. Resourcing, Governance & Delivery
- Act as primary owner of regional resourcing, programme oversight, and delivery governance for multi-workstream projects.
- Prioritise, escalate, and resolve quality, risk, and resource disagreements at the team and leadership levels.
- Maintain unwavering attention to execution excellence, balancing urgent deliverables with strategic vision.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary Data & Analytics programmes for global media and consumer goods clients, with verifiable business impact.
- Senior client leadership experience, demonstrated through success in influencing cross-functional stakeholders from technical to commercial backgrounds.
- Time-tested ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performance teams across diverse specialisations, fostering collaboration without rigid hierarchy.
- Deep expertise in data infrastructure, analytics, and automation, combined with an ability to connect them into strategically cohesive use cases (e.g., activation-linked models).
- Exceptional strategic storytelling and senior stakeholder influence capabilities, allowing you to present compelling visions in ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity, balancing pragmatism with bold strategic bets in fast-moving industries.
- Strong knowledge of the media and digital ecosystem, particularly in how data participation, performance analytics, and technology shape planning, activation, and measurement—critical for maximising client investment.
