Executive Director of Property Services

Salary: £78,950 - £86,820 plus car allowance of £922 per annum

Permanent | 35 hours per week

Home-based with regular travel across Dumfries and Galloway

Are you an experienced senior property leader who can combine strategic vision, strong governance and a genuine commitment to excellent tenant experience? Loreburn is looking for an Executive Director of Property Services to lead our Property Services Directorate and help shape the future of our homes, communities and asset base.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working as a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic leadership across asset management, investment, repairs, compliance, health and safety, development and sustainability. This is a high-profile role with responsibility for ensuring our homes are safe, well maintained, affordable in use and fit for the future.

You will lead the development and delivery of Loreburn’s Asset Management Strategy, oversee high-performing property and in-house repairs services, and provide clear assurance to the Chief Executive, Executive Team and Management Committee. You will also support acquisitions and development opportunities that strengthen communities across Dumfries and Galloway, particularly in rural locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
