We're partnering with a leading global sports marketing and creative agency to appoint an exceptional leader to head its Social / Editorial function.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the future of a high-performing creative team, leading the development of social-first content, driving strategic growth and delivering outstanding work for globally recognised sports brands and rights holders.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced agency leader who understands how to combine creativity, strategy and commercial thinking to build high-performing teams and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for defining the vision for the Social / Editorial department, leading a talented team and continuing to evolve an award-winning creative offering. You'll work closely with clients, creative, strategy and commercial teams to deliver industry-leading campaigns that engage audiences and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Social / Editorial team.
- Shape the strategic direction of the department and its creative output.
- Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the delivery of world-class social and content campaigns.
- Champion innovation across social platforms and emerging content formats.
- Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Commercial and Client Services teams.
- Mentor and develop future leaders within the business.
- Ensure the highest standards of creative quality and client delivery.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant leadership experience within Social, Content or Editorial.
- A proven background within a leading agency environment.
- Extensive experience working with sports brands, rights holders or major sponsorship programmes.
- A track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent client relationship skills.
- A deep understanding of social media, digital content and audience engagement.
- A passion for sport and creating work that fans genuinely connect with.
