Can You Imagine Inc. is a licensed early learning and child care centre that values respect, teamwork, and high-quality programming. We are a multi-site organization with 5 locations totaling 225 spaces. Child care is a cornerstone of our community, and our team plays an essential role in supporting families every day. About The Role

At Can You Imagine Inc., we believe that high-quality child care is built on strong leadership, meaningful community partnerships, and a commitment to children and families. We are seeking an Executive Director in Winnipeg to lead our centre with vision, integrity, and compassion.

The Executive Director is the senior leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the centre’s operations. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position provides leadership to staff, ensures compliance with Manitoba Child Care legislation, and fosters strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners.

The Executive Director manages the centre’s day-to-day operations, financial planning, staffing leadership, and programming while reporting to and working in partnership with the Board of Directors.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the centre in alignment with its mission, vision, and goals
  • Oversee finances, budgeting, grant proposal writing and reporting to the Board
  • Manage staff recruitment, development, and performance
  • Support the implementation of high-quality programming that aligns with the Manitoba’s Early Learning Curriculum Framework
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, employment, and health and safety standards
  • Build positive relationships with families, the community, and sector partners
  • Maintain a strong and transparent working relationship with the Board of Directors
