Position Summary

Bear Business Finance Ltd is hiring for an Executive Finance Broker to join their fast-growing team. As an Executive Finance Broker, your main responsibility will be to generate new business by contacting potential clients through outbound calls, outlining Bear Business Finances’ financial solutions to the clients, and educating them on the benefits of asset finance and commercial loan funding. Whilst working through the ‘Centre of Excellence programme' you will be working closely with a Director or Senior Finance Broker. Once you have qualified an opportunity, you will work alongside a Director or Senior Finance Broker to progress it through to completion.

Key Duties

  • Generate new business through a combination of outbound prospecting, marketing-generated leads, and warm enquiries, building strong relationships with prospective clients to grow your future customer base while supporting both your own and your mentor's pipeline.
  • You will take a consultative approach, qualifying the customers’ requirements to understand their business finance needs and link them to the suitability of Bear Business Finances’ solutions on offer.
  • Read and understand company financials, via online software and manually reading business accounts, you will be trained on this.
  • Compose proposal documentation and funder applications, this will include document gathering from clients and learning their business model.
  • Continually and consistently generate a pipeline of leads for you and your Senior Finance Broker.
  • Report directly to a Director or Senior Finance Broker and respond to all requests made in line with their position and hierarchical seniority.

The successful candidate must have charisma, charm, and personality to build a strong telephone rapport. There will also be a sales process which must be followed, which is measured by internal KPI’s and SLA’s, therefore discipline and focus is also required. Compensation

The salary package is made up of a basic salary and a commission bonus totalling a realistic first year OTE of £65,000 - £120,000 and second year of £150,000+. During your first three months, while completing our Centre of Excellence Programme, we guarantee a pro rata salary equivalent to £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Career Development

Our Executive Finance Broker position is part of our ‘Centre of Excellence’ programme. This programme forms a long-term career strategy that our successful candidates will follow, with a view of developing into a fully fledged finance broker within 3 months. Our centre of excellence programme provides our Brokers with:

  • Director mentorship, development, training, and support from a Finance Expert.
  • Working closely with a Director or senior finance broker.
  • Centre of Excellence clear path, with regular signposted targets and objectives.
  • Market-leading commission structure on completion of the Centre of Excellence Programme– we want the best, so we pay the best.
  • On completion of the Centre of Excellence Programme, we expect our candidates to be earning a realistic OTE of circa £150,000+ per year from year 2 onwards.

Salary

  • Up to £120,000 OTE year 1

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5.30pm
