Working Pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for evening and weekend events

The Role
We're now looking for an exceptional Executive Head Chef to lead one of our flagship locations, the EngineRooms at Birchwood Park.

As Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the entire culinary operation across the EngineRooms and the wider park offer. From delivering exceptional daily food experiences in our outlets to creating memorable events, from working lunches and BBQs to premium three-course black-tie dinners, you'll set the culinary standard across the estate.
You'll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspiring your team to deliver creativity, consistency and excellence every day.
This role would particularly suit someone with a strong hotel, meetings and events background, who understands both high-volume service and premium hospitality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a talented kitchen brigade across multiple food offers.
- Owning the culinary delivery for all restaurants, coffee shops, meetings and events functions.
- Delivery of a diverse event programme including:
- Indoor & Outdoor Events
- Concept Pop ups
- Deliveries on and off the park
- BBQs
- Awards evenings
- Black Tie events
- Park-wide community events
- Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Managing food cost, labour and GP performance.
- Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and event teams.
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, HACCP and health & safety standards.
- Driving innovation.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Executive Head Chef or Head Chef within a hotel, conference venue, events business or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong banqueting and events experience with the ability to deliver both large-scale and high-end dining experiences.
- Experience managing multiple food outlets or complex operations.
- A genuine passion for fresh food, innovation and hospitality.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire teams.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation and compliance standards.
- A flexible approach to working hours, supporting evening and weekend events when required.
