About the Role

The Executive Housekeeper is a key leadership position within Fairmont Windsor Park, responsible for:

  • Inspiring the housekeeping team to maintain highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming, immaculate environment that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Leading and managing a large housekeeping team to sustain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing efficient housekeeping procedures and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with company brand standards of quality and cleanliness at all times.
  • Preparing and monitoring the annual departmental budget, with focus on occupancy, payroll costs, and departmental expenses.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Responding to audits to drive continual improvement.
  • Addressing guest concerns promptly, attentively, and efficiently.
  • Coaching, training, and supporting the team to maintain high standards while promoting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a large housekeeping team
  • Maintain uncompromising cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and implement best practices in housekeeping
  • Oversee budgeting and cost control
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Address guest feedback and concerns
  • Mentor and develop the housekeeping team

Requirements

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in managing a large, diverse team
  • Clear and influential communicator, able to interact across all levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of budgeting and cost control
  • Ability to produce in-depth reports and analyse data to drive operational efficiency
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs
  • Proven ability to manage, coach, challenge, and develop teams
  • Approachable and positive approach with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to use initiative in challenging situations and under pressure
  • Smart and professional appearance, aligning with a luxury 5-star hotel standard
  • Proven track record in a similar role in a 5-star hotel
  • Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken

Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Extensive experience in luxury hospitality management
