The Role

Matchday Executive Host is a customer-facing hospitality professional who will look after VIP and corporate guests at the Coventry Building Society Arena on matchdays. The role focuses on delivering a premium guest experience before, during, and after the match.

Report to

  • Head of Hospitality
  • Hospitality Manager

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests on arrival with a professional, friendly manner.
  • Checking tickets or hospitality credentials before guests enter executive lounges or boxes.
  • Escorting guests to their seats or hospitality areas.
  • Answering questions and resolving customer requests.
  • Coordinating with catering, security, and commercial teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Keeping hospitality lounges clean, organised, and ready for guests.
  • Assisting with corporate events and non-matchday functions when required.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.

The Club typically value previous hospitality, retail, hotel, or customer service experience. We recruit enthusiastic candidates with strong people skills and provide training.
