Executive Hospitality Lead
Location: Duffield Bank House, Derby DE56 Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

The Role
Based at Duffield Bank House—a 16th-century property on the bank of the River Derwent—this iconic Rolls-Royce property was purchased in 1936. Today, it hosts senior Rolls-Royce executives and clients for high-level events, including conferences, formal dinners, garden BBQs, and overnight stays.
Reporting to the Executive Host Manager, the Executive Hospitality Lead will:
- Drive and maintain 7-standard guest service*
- Work across all service lines with team leader accountability
- Focus on service improvements, guest satisfaction, and team training

Daily Operations & Guest Experience
- Supervise facility operations, including maintenance, conference setups, security procedures, and health and safety compliance
- Ensure high standards in cleaning, catering, and maintenance
- Escalate issues promptly and adapt to change on a flexible rota
- Host high-profile guests with discretion and deliver 7-level service*
- Oversee logistics for client visits and VIP concierge experiences
- Manage bookings effectively, including Microsoft Office applications
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and adhere to client strategies, policies, and procedures
Leadership & Team Development
- Act as Duty Manager, ensuring guest safety, operational management, and service excellence
- Lead by example to promote a customer-centric culture
- Train team members on-the-job to enhance service standards
- Develop innovative solutions to improve guest satisfaction
Support & Compliance
- Support emergency procedures as required
- Track customer preferences for future visits
- Ensure AV/IT systems are operational daily
Person Specification
Experience & Skills
- Extensive hospitality or customer service experience required
- Demonstrated customer-centric mindset, prioritising guest satisfaction
- Ideally, prior management or supervisory experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems
- Proficient communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing)
- Cultural awareness and adaptability
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and punctual
- Strong problem-solving ability

Technical Proficiency
