What this job involves:
Working within the Executive Services team the Executive Hospitality Supervisor will have team leader responsibility and work closely with all service lines to drive and maintain 7* service standards. Duffield Bank House is a 16th Century property located on the bank of the River Derwent. Purchased by Rolls-Royce in 1936 its main purpose today is hosting senior Rolls-Royce executives and their customers for conferences, formal dinner, garden BBQ’s and overnight stays. Reporting to the Executive Host Manager you will focus your day-to-day efforts into service improvement, guest satisfaction and team training.

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Be part of a small team of Executive hosts to support the daily running of the sites.
- Supervising the facility operations including maintenance, conference facilities, security procedures and health and safety
- Flexible working hours including evening work with some overnight stays
- Driving a working Health and Safety culture
- Ensuring a high standard of cleaning, catering and maintenance. Make sure all issues are escalated appropriately
- Be adaptable to change and able to operate on a flexible rota system
- Ability to host high profile guests with discretion and maintain a 7* service
- Support logistics of customer visits
- Able to manage bookings effectively with working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Fully understand and work within client strategies, policies and procedures
- Providing VIP service including concierge and service
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Ensuring AV/IT systems are in working order daily
- Forming the role of Duty Manager to ensure overall safety, operational management and maintaining high service standards.
- Support emergency procedures as outlined and when required
- Lead by example within the team to drive a customer-centric style of service
- Record and track customer preferences for future visits
- Run on the job training sessions for the wider team to improve overall service standards
- Develop ways of improving service or guest satisfaction through innovation.

Person Specification
- Extensive hospitality and/or customer service experience
- Customer centric service style, putting the customer first
- Ideally previous management or supervisory experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Effective communication skills both with colleagues and customers
- Cultural awareness
- Organised and timely
- Problem solving ability
- Good attention to detail skills
- Knowledge and operational experience with Microsoft Office Software
- Desire to continually improve, adapt and self-develop
