Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection is on the lookout for a dynamic Executive Housekeeper to inspire and lead!
Join the excitement and become part of the team at Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection by IHG - a landmark addition to the capital’s luxury lifestyle scene.
Joining the IHG portfolio in Summer 2026 as Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection - this exciting new chapter marks the brand’s first property in London. Set in the heart of Canary Wharf with stunning views across the River Thames and London skyline, the hotel features 142 luxurious guestrooms and suites, stylish dining spaces, meeting and events facilities and access to a luxury health club, spa and pool. As part of Vignette Collection, the hotel blends luxury hospitality with authentic, experiential and considerate travel while celebrating individuality, locality and meaningful guest experiences in one of London’s most dynamic destinations.
This is not a typical Executive Housekeeper opportunity! As the hotel prepares to transition into Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection, we are looking for a confident, hands-on leader who is excited by transformation, comfortable taking ownership and ready to help shape standards, culture and ways of working during a significant brand journey.
As an Executive Housekeeper, your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing) …
- Leading the Housekeeping department through an important period of change as the hotel transitions into the Vignette Collection brand, setting clear standards and bringing structure, pace and consistency to the operation.
- Taking ownership of guestrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure they reflect luxury brand expectations, with a strong focus on presentation, cleanliness, safety and attention to detail.
- Building, developing and motivating a high-performing housekeeping team through recruitment, training, coaching and clear day-to-day leadership.
- Working closely with the Rooms Division Manager and wider leadership team to embed new ways of working, improve standards and support a seamless guest experience.
- Managing departmental budgets, labour costs, inventory and supplier relationships while balancing operational demands with the needs of a hotel in transition.
- Using guest feedback, cleanliness scores and quality audits to identify priorities, drive improvements and maintain momentum against brand expectations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
