Executive Leadership Programme

Role Purpose

The GEDU Executive Leadership Programme is a selective rotational leadership pathway designed to develop future enterprise leaders within a fast-growing global education organization. It allows exceptional individuals to both gain a good understanding of the workings of GEDU and demonstrate their suitability for a senior role within the organization. The programme is designed to be flexible and responsive to the needs and interests of the individual. Participants will work in several departments, delivering key projects as agreed by the executive sponsor/mentor in that department.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work with, and possibly lead, departmental and interdepartmental teams
  • Translating strategy into action through complex, cross-regional projects & outcomes
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, operational improvement and scalability initiatives
  • Analyze organizational systems, processes, challenges, and contribute to solution development
  • Establish and strengthen networks and relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze data, present findings, recommendations, and project updates where required

Person Specification

  • Entrepreneurial, start-up spirit
  • Lead diverse teams with clarity, accountability, and values alignment
  • Confident working with ambiguous guidelines to develop structures and procedures
  • Ability to be proactive and adaptable as appropriate for a growing business
  • Understand accountability and delegation at a senior level
  • Demonstrate ability to make and be accountable for decisions
  • Able to absorb new information readily and to put it into practice effectively

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Have an appropriate level of qualifications and experience.
  • Have experience of designing, leading and delivering international or cross-cultural experience projects
  • Demonstrable experience of analyzing data and information and the use of appropriate technology to facilitate this.
  • Demonstrable experience of setting high-quality standards and striving for continuous improvement and quality assurance
  • The ability to determine goals and priorities and to assess the actions, time and resources needed to achieve those goals
  • The ability to communicate in clear language, both in writing and orally, and to adapt one’s use of language to the audience’s level
