The Executive MBA (EMBA) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford is ranked No. 1 globally in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026. The programme brings together experienced senior leaders from across the world who come to Oxford to develop their leadership, broaden their perspective and make real impact in business and society.

With four active cohorts of around 70 experienced executives from more than 30 countries, the EMBA is one of Oxford Saïd’s flagship programmes.

As EMBA Programme Manager, you will play a central role in planning and delivering an outstanding experience for these leaders throughout their two-year programme, both in Oxford and at international locations. From onboarding through to end of programme ceremonies, you will help create an experience that reflects Oxford’s reputation for excellence.

Why this role matters

The EMBA generates approximately £18 million in annual tuition revenue and plays an important role in Oxford Saïd’s purpose of creating impact from within: transforming individuals, who transform businesses, which transform the world.

This is far more than programme administration. It is an exciting and varied role combining project and event management, stakeholder engagement, leadership of a cohort, innovation and communications to deliver a seamless student experience.

Combining meticulous planning with exceptional customer service, you will become a trusted point of contact for students, faculty and senior colleagues, ensuring every detail works seamlessly behind the scenes so students can focus on learning.

Every cohort is different, bringing diverse interests, expectations and professional experience. This gives you continual opportunities to improve, innovate and help shape the programme experience.

About the team

You will join an innovative, supportive and ambitious EMBA Programme team made up of a Programme Director, Associate Director, Senior Programme Managers, Programme Managers and Programme Coordinators.

Together, the team works collaboratively with colleagues across Admissions, Careers, Faculty Services, Examinations, Facilities, Alumni Relations, Business Development and many other departments.

Who we're looking for

This role would suit candidates with successful experience in programme, project or event management; executive or higher education operations; hospitality; luxury travel; conferences, weddings, large scales events or festivals; client services or another fast-paced, complex, delivery-focused environment where organisation, relationship management and attention to detail are essential.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure, confident working with senior stakeholders and motivated by delivering exceptional experiences. You will bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, a commitment to service excellence and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
