Rolls-Royce is currently looking for an Executive Office Engagement Manager to support the President of Defense and CEO of Rolls-Royce North America and Chief of Staff. This is an opportunity for an individual wishing to broaden their business knowledge and gain experience of working at a senior level in a FTSE100 organization as it undertakes a period of transformational change.

This role will work closely with the President’s Chief of Staff and other members of the Executive Office. This is a critical role leading the development of accurate and professional presentations, papers, prep material for the President of Rolls-Royce Defence. The Engagement Manager will leverage resources from across the business and liaise with members of the Defence Leadership Team and their teams to ensure proper prep for high profile events internally or externally.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supporting the President of Defence with input and content for senior engagements, including Customer meetings, Rolls-Royce Board or Executive Team meetings, and high profile events
  • Liaise with the Defence Leadership Team to lead the creation of content for Rolls-Royce Business Reviews
  • Ensure that prep material for the President and Defence Leadership Team is accurate and professional
  • Develop the agenda and content for Defence Leadership Group monthly meetings and annual conferences
  • Set the standard for quality presentations and papers for both internal and external use

Who We’re Looking For:

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate degree and 7+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR
  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 9+ years of experience in business, project management or communications in lieu of a degree

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in the Defense business
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills: requires an individual who can work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams, building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to leverage their expertise to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: requires an individual who has excellent oral and written communication skills overall, with a particular ability to interact and communicate with executives, leadership, and individuals at all levels of the organization
