Salary & Benefits

Pension Contributions
DWP contributes 28.97% towards the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension Scheme:
- Basic salary: £32,137 → Pension contribution: £9,310.08
- London weighting:
- Outer London (£35,615) → Pension contribution: £10,317.66
- Inner London (£37,016) → Pension contribution: £10,723.53

Work-Life Flexibility
- Job sharing, term-time working, flexi-time, and compressed hours
- 23 days’ annual leave (minimum) at entry, increasing to 30 days over time (prorated for part-time)
