I am currently working with one of my global investment management clients who is looking to hire an Executive Recruiter, Associate Director. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing in-house executive recruitment team during a period of significant transformation and growth. The business has had a strong start to the year financially and is investing heavily in leadership capability to support its evolving organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to advise on executive and leadership hiring across the business.
  • Manage executive search mandates end-to-end, from briefing and search strategy through to offer and onboarding.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring leaders, providing consultative guidance and market insights throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and execute tailored search strategies to identify and attract high-calibre leadership talent.
  • Confidently challenge and influence hiring decisions, ensuring robust, evidence-based recruitment outcomes.
  • Drive diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) considerations throughout the executive search process to support diverse leadership hiring.
  • Manage multiple executive search projects across different business areas within a global platform, ensuring an exceptional stakeholder and candidate experience.

About you

  • Proven experience in a true 360 executive recruitment role, managing searches from inception through to completion.
  • Background gained either in-house or within a high-quality boutique executive search firm.
  • Strong experience managing client relationships, search strategy and senior stakeholder engagement, rather than purely research-focused work.
  • Consultative, commercially minded approach with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset, using market insights and recruitment analytics to inform hiring decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) throughout executive hiring processes.
  • Excellent organisational and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage multiple executive search mandates across a global business.
