About the role
The Executive Reporting & Insights Manager is a senior role within Haleon’s Digital & Technology (D&T) organisation, accountable for delivering high-quality executive reporting and insight that supports leadership decision-making at the most senior levels.
The role owns the creation of clear, trusted and consistent executive-level performance reports, combining data from across delivery, financial, operational and strategic domains into a single, coherent narrative. It ensures senior leaders receive not just data, but insight, context and clarity on decisions required.
Working closely with D&T leadership, Data & Reporting, Financial Performance, Portfolio & Performance and Operational Performance teams, this role acts as a bridge between complex data and executive-level action.
Role purpose
To enable effective executive decision-making by delivering trusted, standardised and insight-led reporting, ensuring leaders have a clear, concise and consistent view of performance, trends, risks and priorities.
Key accountabilities
The Executive Reporting & Insights Manager is accountable for:
- Producing and owning executive-level reporting as a single, trusted version of the truth
- Transforming complex data into clear executive insight and narrative
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy and quality of reporting used in senior forums
- Standardising executive reporting packs, templates and visualisation approaches
- Driving automation and continuous improvement of executive reporting
- Supporting senior governance forums with decision-ready insight
Key responsibilities
- Executive Reporting Ownership
- Own the end-to-end production of executive reporting packs for senior leadership forums (e.g. LT, ExCo-style reviews, QBRs).
- Ensure reporting brings together delivery, financial, operational and risk insights into a coherent executive view.
- Maintain confidence that executive reporting represents a single, trusted source of truth.

Insight Generation & Trend Analysis
- Identify key trends, drivers, risks and opportunities across the data landscape.
- Highlight what has changed, why it matters, and what actions or decisions are required.
- Move reporting from status and history to forward-looking insight.

Executive Narrative & Decision Support
- Translate complex information into clear, concise executive narrative.
- Shape reporting to support structured discussion, trade-offs and decision-making.
- Ensure leaders can quickly understand issues without navigating raw data.

Standardised Reporting Packs & Templates
- Define and maintain standardised templates, decks and visualisation styles for executive reporting.
- Improve consistency, comparability and efficiency across reporting cycles.
- Reduce bespoke, one-off reporting and slide-creation effort.

Reporting Quality, Accuracy & Assurance
- Ensure executive reporting meets high standards of accuracy, clarity and analytical rigour.
- Balance speed of delivery with confidence in the data and insight.
- Provide assurance that reporting can be relied on in high-stakes forums.

Automation & Reporting Optimisation
- Drive automation of executive reporting, reducing manual effort and spreadsheet dependency.
- Identify opportunities to rationalise, simplify or redesign reports for greater impact.
- Work with Data & Reporting teams to improve tooling, data flows and reporting timeliness.

Governance Forum Enablement
- Support senior governance forums (e.g. MORs, QBRs, LT reviews) with timely, decision-oriented packs.
- Ensure reporting focuses discussions on actions, priorities and risks — not data interpretation.
- Track feedback from leadership to continuously improve reporting usefulness.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Consistency
- Work closely with Finance, Delivery, Operations and Portfolio teams to ensure consistent messaging and definitions.
- Align insights presented across different forums to avoid fragmented or conflicting narratives.

Senior Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior leaders to understand evolving reporting and insight needs.
- Manage expectations on cadence, content and level of detail.
- Act as a trusted advisor on how best to represent complex information to executives.
Support DTLT and Senior leaders with Executive level communication packs

Qualifications & skills
Essential
- Strong experience in executive reporting, performance insight or strategic analysis roles
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear executive-level narratives
- Experience building and maintaining standardised reporting packs and templates
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence
- Analytical mindset with a focus on clarity and impact
Preferred
- Experience supporting Digital, Technology or transformation functions
- Familiarity with data, analytics or BI environments
- Experience working with automated reporting tools and dashboards
- Exposure to senior governance or board-level reporting
