Responsibilities

This is a full-time contract role for approximately 6 months.

The Executive Research Manager focuses on proactively sourcing high-quality professionals for key leadership roles across the EMESA region and beyond. In collaboration with the wider recruitment team, this role supports a diverse range of positions, leveraging varied channels to:

  • Identify
  • Attract
  • Assess critical talent for organic high-growth business initiatives.

What You’ll Do (Expanded Key Accountabilities)

Strategic Sourcing & Executive Search

  • Work in collaboration with internal hiring managers and recruiters to:
    • Define role requirements
    • Understand target candidate profiles
    • Develop and own proactive sourcing strategies per search

Research & Talent Intelligence

  • Partner with stakeholders on specific assignments, including:
    • High-level name generation
    • Org chart analysis
    • Building target longlists
    • Conducting talent pool mappings
    • Identifying passive and active candidates

High-Touch Candidate Experience

  • Provide a white-glove executive search experience for stakeholders, including:
    • Advising on availability, caliber, and cost of potential candidates
    • Guiding candidates through the discrete hiring process
    • Building trust-based relationships

Engagement & Marketing

  • Own the candidate outreach strategy, including:
    • Producing and disseminating targeted marketing content
    • Ensuring maximum pre-application engagement
    • Proactively targeting candidates via social media and professional networks

Assessment & Reporting

  • Conduct in-depth talent analyses evaluating:

    • Functional expertise
    • Culture BCG fit
  • Lead production of Talent Intelligence reports, covering:

    • Detailed analyses for search projects
    • Internal talent assessments
    • Competitor benchmarking
    • Intellectual capital insights

Database Management

  • Maintain and populate our candidate database, ensuring consistent communication with:
    • BCG-fit/silver medallist candidates

Strategic Collaboration

  • Collaborate globally across BCG’s functions, business units, and cohorts to:
    • Generate creative ideas
    • Provide strategic input using data-driven insights

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • 6–8 years of experience in:
    • In-house talent sourcing
    • Head-hunting
    • Executive search
    • Ideally within professional services
  • Expertise in white-glove service delivery, demonstrated through:
    • Pipeline creation
    • Research-based talent engagement
    • Proven mastery of talent acquisition marketing and segmentation
  • Proven track record in strengthening business functions in a consulting context
  • Expertise in:
    • Unearthing top talent across industries
    • Talent strategy
    • Market trends
    • Sourcing technology
  • Driven to excel with strong self-starter qualities and:
    • Keen sense of responsibility
    • Agile mindset
    • Ability to prioritise across multiple searches
  • Proven abilities in:
    • Guiding and converting candidates
    • Building trust-based relationships
  • Adaptability to evolve ways of working in dynamic talent markets
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
