Executive Search Business Development Lead - AI & Digital Transformation
Brighton | Hybrid (3-4 days office)
£30-50K+ Salary | £100K+ OTE
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing executive search firm specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, helping innovative businesses secure the leadership talent driving the next generation of technology.
The Market
AI is transforming almost every industry.
From healthcare platforms helping radiologists automate clinical workflows, to manufacturers implementing AI-powered automation, to enterprise software businesses reinventing how organisations operate - demand for experienced AI leadership has never been greater.
You'll work with ambitious technology businesses solving complex problems across sectors including:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Digital Transformation
- Enterprise Technology
- Life Sciences & Healthcare
- Manufacturing & Industrial Technology
- Technology Consulting
These are retained executive search assignments where clients value expertise, relationships, and long-term partnerships over transactional recruitment.
The Opportunity
This role has been designed for someone who wants to become a Business Development specialist.
Initially, you'll support the delivery of retained search projects, learning the market, understanding the clients, and building credibility within the sector.
As your knowledge grows, you'll transition into a pure business development role, winning retained search assignments and becoming the commercial face of the business.
It's a structured route into high-value executive search sales rather than being expected to win business on day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
