Help Shape the Future of Exercise Medicine with GenesisCare

This is an exciting opportunity to join GenesisCare UK as we continue expanding our innovative Exercise Medicine programme at our new, purpose-built cancer centre in Leeds.

At GenesisCare, we believe exercise is medicine. Our Exercise Medicine programme is an integral part of every patient's cancer journey, helping people prepare for treatment, manage side effects, improve recovery, and enhance their quality of life.

As Exercise Clinic Lead Physiotherapist, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering this unique service while helping shape its future from the very beginning.

Working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll lead the Exercise Medicine service within the centre, providing expert physiotherapy assessment, personalised exercise prescription, and specialist oncology rehabilitation, while supporting patients living with and beyond cancer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine clinical leadership, service development and patient-centred care within one of the UK's leading independent oncology providers.

What You'll Bring

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • A minimum of three years' post-graduate clinical experience at Band 6 level or equivalent
  • Broad rotational experience including Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics, Medicine, Surgery and Neurology
  • Experience within oncology rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience, including mentoring and developing colleagues
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and confidence managing complex patients
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • A passion for exercise medicine and delivering exceptional patient-centred care
  • A proactive approach to service improvement and innovation
