We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP Referral Instructor to join our Healthy Communities team in Brighton & Hove. This rewarding role involves supporting individuals referred through the GP Referral Programme to improve their health, wellbeing and confidence through safe and effective physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and supervise participants on the GP Referral Programme
- Design safe and effective exercise programmes based on individual needs
- Provide instruction on the correct and safe use of fitness equipment
- Monitor participant progress and adapt programmes where required
- Evaluate programme outcomes and support continuous improvement
- Support the development and promotion of health and wellbeing initiatives
- Assist with wider fitness centre operations when required

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing
- Friendly, approachable and confident when working with a diverse range of customers
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
- Organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required
- Committed to delivering high standards of customer care and service excellence
- Able to travel across the Brighton contract area to support service delivery at multiple locations as required

Desirable Skills & Experience
- GP Referral qualification
- Experience working within a leisure, fitness or health related environment
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Defibrillation training
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
- Computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
- Experience developing and monitoring exercise programmes
- Understanding of health improvement and exercise referral schemes
- Previous customer service experience within a fitness or leisure setting

Salary: up to £13.02 per hour (depending on qualification)
