✨ Experienced Bookkeeper (Practice) – Witham, Essex
We’re 123 Easy Books, a friendly and growing bookkeeping practice based in Witham, Essex. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an Experienced Bookkeeper (Practice) to join our supportive team.
This is a hands-on role in a close-knit practice where accuracy, client relationships, and a positive attitude matter just as much as technical ability.
📍 The Role
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients, working directly with business owners to keep their bookkeeping accurate, up to date, and compliant. You’ll be supported by a small, friendly team with clear processes and guidance available when needed.

💼 Key Responsibilities
- Double-entry bookkeeping (sales & purchase ledgers)
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll & CIS processing
- Client communication
- Maintaining accurate financial records
💻 Systems

- Xero experience is essential
- Sage / QuickBooks / FreeAgent / BrightPay beneficial
- Training provided where needed
👤 About You
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ practice bookkeeping experience
- Confident using Xero
- Organised, reliable, and client-focused

£30,000
