Contract Details
- Full Time, Permanent
- 37 hours per week
- 4 days per week
- Tuesday – Sunday (shifts cover a mix of early, late, and weekends for variety)

Responsibilities
As a Bus Driver, your role includes:
- Delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused journeys
- Operating our environmentally friendly fleet in accordance with operational standards
- Bachidespread daily communication with passengers—a great customer service mindset is essential
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards on board
- Assisting with basic minor vehicle inspection tasks and reporting any issues
- Promoting First Bus’s sustainability initiatives to passengers and colleagues
Requirements
To be a successful candidate, you’ll need:
- A valid PCV license for 2+ years
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK (applicants advised this will be checked)
- At least 18 years of age
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- The ability to work flexibly on a rota/shift basis (Shifts may include early mornings—starting at 03:30 hrs—late nights—finishing at 02:00 hrs—and weekends.)
- Excellent people skills—passenger interaction is a key part of the role
- Flexibility and reliability to adapt to different shift patterns
