Are you ready to shape RBI’s Corporate & Investment Banking presence in one of Europe’s most important financial markets?
As Client Coverage Manager, you will focus on local CIB client coverage activities in the UK and Ireland while maintaining close coordination with the respective Head Office functions in Vienna, ensuring alignment on client strategy, origination priorities, account planning, and business development. You will connect local market opportunities with RBI Group’s network in Austria and CEE in line with the business strategy and leveraging the Group’s product capabilities.
In this senior front-office role, you will combine business origination, strategic client relationship management, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance to support sustainable growth while representing RBI Group locally and ensuring compliant client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive CIB client coverage in the UK and Ireland in alignment with RBI Group strategy.
- Originate new cross-sector and cross-product business opportunities with corporate and institutional clients and prospects.
- Build and deepen senior client relationships and represent RBI Group in the UK market.
- Promote RBI Group capabilities in the UK and Ireland and support transaction execution across entities.
- Participate in RBIUK chaperoning arrangements as part of the branch’s wider group of certified persons and ensure compliant client engagement.
- Identify and escalate risks, compliance issues, and operational incidents.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, including AML, sanctions, financial crime, KYC, and due diligence requirements.

Your core competencies:
- Extensive experience in corporate and institutional client coverage within an international banking environment.
- Ability to originate new client relationships and develop exiting ones with proven expertise on wide range of banking products to optimally meet client needs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex cross-border structures.
- Sound commercial judgement, professional integrity, and willingness to familiarize yourself with applicable local regulatory requirements.
Reporting Line:
You will report to the Head of CIB International Network and General Manager UK Branch, while working closely with CIB, Product, Compliance, KYC, and Risk functions.
Regulatory Status:
This role is subject to the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR). The role holder must comply with FCA Conduct Rules, meet Fit and Proper requirements on an ongoing basis, and complete mandatory compliance and financial crime trainings.
