Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their highly regarded team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire offices.

The Role
- Assisting with residential sale, purchase, remortgage, and transfer of equity transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Managing aspects of the conveyancing process with minimal supervision.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence.
- Handling post-completion matters, including registrations and Stamp Duty submissions.
- Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures.

Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3–4 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
- A sound understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion.
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and client care skills.
- Experience of AML, GDPR, cyber security, and fraud prevention requirements within a legal environment.
- A proactive, professional, and positive approach to work.
