  • Manage day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including staff scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the practice team to achieve high levels of performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety regulations, and dental industry guidelines.
  • Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and monitoring practice profitability.
  • Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance appraisals for clinical and administrative staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and oversee appointment systems to maximise efficiency.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support marketing and community engagement activities to grow the practice’s patient base.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager or in a similar healthcare management role.
  • Strong understanding of dental practice operations, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with practice management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or business administration are desirable.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and service excellence.
