Location: Various sites across London
Duration: Initial 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension)
Start Date: Immediate
Company: Daniel Bell Vertical Garden Limited (DBVG)

DBVG is a leading specialist in the design, installation and maintenance of vertical gardens, roof terraces and interior and exterior planting. We are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Gardener / Horticultural Operative to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining vertical gardens
  • Caring for indoor and outdoor planting displays
  • Maintaining roof terraces and planted areas
  • Planting, pruning, weeding
  • Monitoring plant health and reporting any issues and advising on the solutions
  • Watering and general horticultural maintenance
  • Assisting with the installation of planting schemes, vertical gardens and green infrastructure projects
  • Ensuring sites are kept clean, tidy and presented to a high standard
  • Using horticultural tools and equipment safely
  • CSCS card a bonus but not essential

About You

  • Previous horticultural, gardening or landscaping experience (10+ years)
  • A genuine interest and passion in plants and horticulture
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights where appropriate
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
