Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Garment Tech based in Haydock. The Experienced Garment Tech will oversee garment fit, construction, and quality, working closely with design, pattern cutting, and production teams to ensure products meet specification and brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating technical packs, measuring and assessing samples, conducting fit sessions, and providing clear comments and amendments to suppliers and internal colleagues. The role also involves monitoring production quality, solving technical issues, ensuring garments comply with relevant standards and cost parameters, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and product performance.

- Strong experience in garment technology, including fit, construction, and quality assurance for apparel products.
- Proficiency in creating and managing technical packs, measurement charts, and specification sheets.
- Experience conducting fit sessions and communicating clear, technical fit and construction comments.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, manufacturing processes, and garment performance standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design, pattern cutting, and production teams in an on-site environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
- Comfortable using relevant software tools (e.g., Excel or PLM systems) to track samples, measurements, and production data.
- Previous experience in an apparel or fashion company and a relevant qualification in garment technology, fashion, or textiles is beneficial.
