Vacancy: Experienced Guillotine Operators (Blantyre Facility)

Gavin Watson 11/06/2026

Looking for more than just a job in print? Want to join a team where you’re genuinely valued, listened to, and supported to develop your skills?

At Gavin Watson, we’re a family-owned, Blantyre based business that’s built on quality, trust, and people. We specialise in high-quality label and packaging printing – and we’re proud of what we do. We’re agile, adaptable, and big on creating a workplace that works for our team, not just the other way around.

The Role

We’re on the lookout for Guillotine Operators to join our friendly and hardworking team. Candidates must have previous experience of operating Polar 115 Guillotines and should be confident working in a fast paced process driven manufacturing environment, be looking to settle in long term or permanent employment (shift working) and have an enthusiastic, can do approach to their work. You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers get the high-quality labels and packaging they know us for.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
