This is a full-time, on-site role for Experienced Installation Engineers based in the UK. The role involves installing, commissioning, and testing vehicle wash systems and associated equipment at customer sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to agreed specifications.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting technical drawings
- Wiring and connecting electrical components
- Assembling mechanical structures
- Integrating systems with existing site infrastructure
- Performing routine maintenance and fault-finding
- Providing technical support to customers
- Completing accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborating with project managers and the wider engineering team
- Following health and safety procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement of installation practices
Qualifications
- Strong equipment installation experience, including commissioning and testing of industrial or automotive systems.
- Solid electrical engineering knowledge, with practical skills in electrical wiring, fault-finding, and safe working with electrical systems.
- Mechanical engineering skills, including assembly, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical components and structures.
- Background in maintenance for electro-mechanical equipment, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on site.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements, ideally within ISO-accredited or similarly regulated environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
- Valid driver’s license and right to work in the UK.
