Experienced Legal Advisor
Join a fast-growing, employee-owned business where legal plays a key role in supporting commercial growth and smart decision-making.
At La Fosse, we're continuing to grow and build for the future. We're looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team in a visible, business-facing role. You'll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the business, helping them make informed decisions, manage risk and navigate legal matters in a practical, commercial way.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants ownership and likes working closely with commercial teams.
The Role
You'll act as a trusted legal partner to the business, providing practical support across commercial, employment, compliance and dispute matters. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you'll manage your own workload while helping to improve legal processes, governance and compliance across the organisation.
No two days will look the same. You could be negotiating commercial contracts, supporting HR on an employment matter, advising on legal risk, or creating training to help the wider business stay up to date with legislative changes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
