We’re on the lookout for an ambitious medical writer to join our growing team and support a significant rare disease account with a focus on publications.

The role

We have a new opportunity for an experienced publications writer to join our team and work on a range of projects within a busy rare disease account. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished writer with a passion for rare disease communications and an interest in publications to develop high-quality, innovative publications aimed at a variety of audiences for our global pharmaceutical client.

This role offers flexibility in how you work, whether that’s from one of our UK offices or fully remote from anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering high-quality content within a publications workstream for a rare disease account that is highly significant for Amiculum (project types include abstracts, manuscripts, posters, congress presentations and enhanced publications content)
  • Contributing to publication strategy and tactical delivery
  • Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts
  • Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams and reviewing colleague-developed draft publications
  • Actively participating in the idea generation needed to drive and grow a contemporary publications account through proactive client management and by identifying organic growth opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
