Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Optical Consultant based in the West Midlands. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service and support customers in making informed decisions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses, with the ability to explain technical details effectively.
  • Attention to detail for conducting accurate pre-screening tests, maintaining stock presentations, and assisting with troubleshooting customer concerns.
  • Experience in sales and retail operations, including achieving sales targets and upselling product offerings.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and contribute collaboratively to the success of the store.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards and a commitment to providing a hygienic and safe environment for customers.
  • Intermediate IT skills to efficiently use in-store systems, technology, and point-of-sale platforms.
  • Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting and a passion for eye care are advantageous.
