Experienced Residential Painters

As part of a luxury home building and painting company in Northern Michigan, you’ll work on custom homes where every detail matters.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Use your extensive knowledge of residential painting techniques to perform high-quality interior and exterior painting on luxury homes.
- Expertly select, mix, and apply paints to various surfaces, using the right tools – brushes, sprayers, caulking guns, and more.
- Prep and inspect surfaces with care, ensuring all work is done with precision and meets our strict quality standards, known as the McCaffrey Way.
- Safely work from scaffolding and ladders, taking care to protect clients' homes and belongings while maintaining a clean, organized job site.
- Respectful communication with homeowners, colleagues, and other project stakeholders is key to our success. You’ll maintain professionalism and clarity on every project.
- Adhere to our company’s safety guidelines, and follow all procedures in the Safety and Employee Handbooks.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional residential painting experience – You bring proven expertise and a passion for delivering top-quality results.
- Proficiency with all types of painting tools and equipment, and a strong understanding of painting materials.
- A meticulous approach to surface preparation, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.
- A professional who values cleanliness and organization as much as craftsmanship.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude – you know how to make clients feel valued and informed.
- Reliability – showing up on time, working efficiently, and staying focused on getting the job done right.
Tools Needed
- 5-in-1 tool
- Caulk guns, putty knives, scrapers
- Brushes (2 ½” sash brush, 3” exterior latex brush)
- Hammer, nail set, screwdrivers
- Cut bucket, roller pan, roller frame, wire brush, gloves
