Role Responsibilities

  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated support for pupils with additional needs
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support learning both inside and outside the classroom
  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and engagement
  • Work alongside teachers to adapt resources and learning activities
  • Assist with behavior support strategies and encourage independence
  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements

  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Experience working with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex learning needs is highly desirable
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child development is essential
  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach is required
