Role Responsibilities
- Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated support for pupils with additional needs
- Deliver targeted interventions and support learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and engagement
- Work alongside teachers to adapt resources and learning activities
- Assist with behavior support strategies and encourage independence
- Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant will contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
- Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND
- Experience working with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex learning needs is highly desirable
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child development is essential
- Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach is required
