AM Phillip Trucktech are a family business who have been trading for 70 years and are Scotland's leading commercial vehicle specialists. We currently have six depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland. Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.

The Role
We provide high-quality maintenance and repair services for a wide range of HGVs, LGVs, and fleet vehicles. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Workshop Controller to join our team and play a key role in our day-to-day operations.
This is a dual-role position combining front-of-house service advising with workshop control responsibilities. You will act as the main point of contact for customers while coordinating the workflow of the workshop to ensure efficiency, productivity, and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and manage service enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Accurately assess customer requirements and schedule work accordingly
- Plan, prioritise, and allocate jobs to workshop technicians
- Monitor job progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare job cards, estimates, and invoices
- Handle any customer issues or complaints effectively
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
- Maximise workshop efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or similar role within a commercial vehicle or automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of HGV/LGV maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills (job management systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Full UK driving licence
